Wedding Venues NYC

NYC Wedding Venues

New York City is famous for so many things. It’s no wonder brides come from all over the globe to plan and experience their dream wedding in NYC.  Whether you are a native to the big apple or visiting these 5 wedding venues below will cater to your every need.

1. 620 Loft & Garden

620 Loft & Garden Wedding Venue
When it comes to NYC wedding venues, 620 Loft & Garden is le creme de la crop.  For starters, this venue is located at 5th Avenue in midtown right next to St. Patrick’s Cathedral.  This roof garden  looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale. It’s hard to put into words how magnetic this rooftop garden is.  Additionally, there is a shimmering pool, fountain and manicured garden perfect for your ceremony and dinner experience.  What’s great is that you can set up your ceremony and dinner however you want.

Lastly, the indoors has a lovely backdrop of Manhattan with floor to ceiling windows. The Rainbow room is a lovely space to get your cocktail hour and dancing on.  We personally had the pleasure of Djing a wedding for Jailin & Howard on labor day weekend in 2019.  Their wedding was featured in Martha Stewart weddings and Carats & Cake.  You can listen to the couples dinner playlist below.

2. Gramercy Park Hotel

If you want a gothic glam NYC vibe, then Gramercy Park Hotel is your place.  The hotel is located in Gramercy right next to Gramercy Park and as soon as you walk in you feel that instant New York City experience.  For starters, just take the elevator straight up to the penthouse and you will be greeted with original Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst pictures on the walls.  Everyone from famous actors, rockers and athletes have stayed at this hotel which adds to that NYC notoriety.  In addition, the removable  glass roof in the bar and dancing area is such a nice feature for those warmer days.  In conclusion, the service and food are impeccable leaving your guests having the perfect wedding experience.

3. Midtown Loft & Terrace

Midtown Loft & Terrace

Midtown Loft & Terrace is located on 5th Avenue and is really two venues combined in one.  This venue has a wrap around rooftop terrace perfect for your ceremony not to mention a backdrop of the Empire State building and a landscaped garden.  The dancing and festivities happen in the loft area below with windows everywhere highlighting the skyline views.  The loft is an open canvas allowing for different transformations through candles, flowers, lighting and furniture settings.  Their illuminated sky bar is also a nice touch.

4. Capitale NYC

Wedding venue NYC

Capitale NYC is located downtown on the Bowery.  This  venue is surrounded by some of the best neighborhoods in NYC like Chinatown, Nolita, Soho and the East Village.  The architecture of this historic building is truly inspiring and was designed by the famous architect Stanford White who also designed the Washington Square Arch and Fifth Avenue Mansion.  The event space is nothing short of jaw dropping with a high sparkling ceiling and tall columns.   Capitale is definitely a venue for couples with a larger guest list and who are ready to dance the night away.  The food is also delicious and there is plenty of flexibility with arranging the space making this venue a win on all accounts.

5. The Yale Club

Wedding venue in NYC

If you are looking for a traditional wedding experience with top notch staff and service then The Yale Club  is your place.  Located right in the center of NYC at Grand Central station, this venue has everything you need and has that classic New York feel.  There are multiple rooms including the lounge area with a grand piano for that vintage cocktail hour look.  The ceremony space is warm and elegant and the reception room boasts with ornate flower arrangements.  The regal curtains covering the many windows surrounding the space adds to that sophisticated New York charm.
